Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Chris Mehl is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of West Coast Maintenence (WCM), a luxury hotel cleaning specialist providing overnight housekeeping support to Five Star Forbes, Five Diamond AAA, and Michelin recognized hospitality properties throughout Southern California.
With over 40 years of experience in the building services and facilities industry—and more than 20 years dedicated to luxury hospitality environments—Chris brings a hands on, operationally grounded approach to leadership. His career began in the field, where he built and operated a successful service company, developing a deep understanding of safety, compliance, and the detailed execution required in high profile properties.
Chris is deeply committed to creating lifelong relationships with each clent, viewing every partnership as a long term collaboration rather than a transactional service. Under his leadership, West Coast Maintenance focuses on developing highly trained cleaning teams, establishing consistent, property specific standards, and aligning closely with each hotel’s brand expectations and housekeeping culture.
Known for his passion for perfection and attention to detail, Chris emphasizes mastery of both Front of House and Back of House cleaning guidelines, ensuring that presentation, discretion, and operational flow are never compromised. Safety and compliance remain central to his philosophy, with WCM operating under strict OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and Health Department requirements.

His background includes leadership roles and participation on two Five‑Star/Five Diamond hotel opening management teams, combining sales, service excellence, and operational expertise. Known for discretion, attention to detail, and a service‑driven mindset, he delivers exceptional cleaning and property care services tailored to high‑end residences, luxury hotels, boutique resorts, and premier business environments.
