Mr. Christopher H. Mehl founded CHM Window Cleaning in 1989. Working in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA his business was started like a true entrepreneur, with a bucket, a ladder, and a squeegee. Chris initially started servicing the residential market, even though he came from a commercial high rise back ground. After joining the International Window Cleaning Association in 1994, he began to pursue servicing commercial and high rise buildings.
In 1997 CHM, opened the janitorial division, which specialized in commercial office and hospitality. From the beginning, CHM’s success has been based on quality client care and service. Chris always had the philosophy that he was operating a professional service company, not just a window washing and janitorial business. During the initial 10 years of business he was able to experience all that business had to offer, good and bad.
At the 10 year mark, CHM had reached the next level propelling the company to restructure and re-organize in order to achieve a higher level of client care and services. There was no aspect of the company which went untouched and no expense which was spared. From new scheduling software, computers, to trucks and equipment, we could now service our clientele faster and more efficiently at a higher level of quality.
In order to more accurately reflect our extensive array of services and who we had become, CHM Window Cleaning became West Coast Maintenance, Inc. in 2001 a thriving company servicing the state of California. In 2004 we opened West Coast Maintenance, LLC servicing the great state of Nevada, utilizing the same business model, which has been so successful in California.
Since day one we have been unique to our industry because of how we care for our Team Members. We believe client service begins with our people in the field. This philosophy is the driving force which insures success at the highest level. It is our goal, for all of our clients, to be the Solution in any and all situations which may arise.
All aspects of what we do focuses on exceeding the needs of the client, while occupying as little of their time as possible. We always strive for the end result of our work to be seen but not our Team Members.
